Since 2016, Crandall Design Company has grown from just one commission for a family friend to a constant flood of commissions for people all over the United States. Callie is inspired by landscapes, architecture, people, and the stories they all contain. At college, she used these inspirations to orchestrate several large projects consisting of theatre backdrops, portraits, architectural compositions and anything else a client threw at her.
While at Baylor she was involved in many large projects, such as, two homecoming parade floats, a large theatre backdrop, and a commission for her interior design building. Currently, Callie lives in Fort Worth, Texas and works at an architecture firm. She is incredibly passionate about the work she does as an Interior Design Associate and is encouraged each day knowing the work she is doing is making a positive difference. In January of 2023, Callie published her first children’s book titled Pappy and Me: A Day on the Farm, which can be found on Amazon.com. In addition to her 9-5, Callie loves taking on art commissions in her free time. She cannot wait to see where her next inspiration for a project will come from.
“Your best work is your expression of yourself. Now, you may not be the greatest at it, but when you do it, you’re the only expert.” -Frank Gehry
